Approved the Concept of development of Parking spaces in the city of Kiev.
In Kiev till 2020 plan to build 125 000 Parking spaces.
This was reported in the municipal enterprise “kievtransparkservis” the Kyiv city state administration.
It is noted that to solve the issue of increasing Parking spaces in the capital designed the Concept of development of Parking spaces in the city of Kiev, approved by the decision of the Kyiv city Council dated 22 January 2015.
So, for 5 years, i.e. until 2020 provides for a gradual increase in the number of Parking spaces to approximately 125,000 Parking spaces, the creation of Park-and-ride car parks and Parking lots, the construction of ground and underground parkings in the Central part of the city and arrangement of Parking equipment for recharging electric vehicles.
In addition, according to the Concept, to minimize corruption risks in the system of Parking in the capital stopped making cash controllers to Parking lots and put the payment on the existing network of designated sites for Parking only in non-cash (Parking meters, SMS-payment, payment through mobile applications, online through the system givc, Portmone, etc).
