A memorial sign installed on the house on the Boulevard Shevchenko № 14, where the First Kiev gymnasium, where he studied writer. Today the building houses the Department of the Institute of Philology of Kyiv national University named after Taras Shevchenko.
We will note that Mikhail Bulgakov was born in Kiev in 1891, where he lived for more than twenty-five years. “I know of no city more beautiful than Kiev” — so spoke the legendary writer about his homeland.
