One of the protesters explained why the campaign is called “11%”. According to him, it was 11% of people support the law about the free possession of weapons.
According to participants, the aim of the campaign was to draw attention to the impossibility of self-defense in the country. The protesters said that they were not satisfied with the police work, so they want to defend themselves. “I need a gun to protect yourself, your family and the state. Law enforcement agencies are not coping with the protection of citizens. The question is, what will be the consequences? If you’re trying to protect yourself and your family, killing the criminal, you close,” – says one of the participants of the action “11%”.
The March was accompanied by several dozen police officers. Ahead of the column rode a patrol car, which has cleared the path of the protesters. The action took place quietly, without provocation.
