In the capital pravoohraniteli in the back room of one of the car parks found an Arsenal of weapons.
It is reported by the Department of communication of the police of Kiev.
“In Kiev, law enforcement officers found an Arsenal of weapons. They were in the back room of the Metropolitan Parking”, – stated in the message.
Ammunition seized in the framework of carrying out the authorized search in coordination with the SBU and Prosecutor’s office as the law enforcement agencies received operative information that to the specified address may be stored weapon.
During the inspection law enforcement officers found a grenade “RGD-5” without fuse, stun missile, one under-barrel grenade for Kalashnikov assault rifle and two smoke grenades.
In addition, police seized 233 cartridge 7.62 mm, 16 smoke charges, four cans of gunpowder, a store and gun parts for the Kalashnikov.
All withdrawn subjects are directed on the relevant examination. On this fact the investigative Department initiated criminal proceedings under part 1 St. 263 (Illegal weapon handling, fighting supplies or explosives). The owner, the origin and purpose of storage of ammunition will find out a consequence.
