Officers of the Pechersk district police Department together with employees of Department of control of accomplishment of the district administration and representatives of the Municipal guards raided the illegal spontaneous trade. Militiamen checked the outlets from the metro station “Arsenalnaya” and “caves”.
As reported in the state of national police of Kiev, the main purpose of the RAID was to warn citizens from purchasing and consuming foodstuffs that do not undergo laboratory monitoring.
By results of RAID on the shopkeepers drawn up under part 2 of article 160 (trade from hands in unspecified places industrial goods) and part 1 of article 160 (trade from hands in unspecified places) of the Code of Ukraine on administrative offences. Materials will be sent to the court.
Also, police urged residents and guests of the capital to buy food in places of unauthorized trade, because such goods can be hazardous to health.
