The participants in the Constitution Day of Ukraine gathered near the National Bank and moved across the street Institute, with the aim to meet with the President of Patronising on the street, where he had to lay flowers to the monument to Pylyp Orlyk. On the crossroad of Shovkovychna str., people stopped and began to push back. This escalated into clashes.
The procession, which was attended by about 200-250 people, moved back. On the corner of Bankova and Instytutska they also blocked the road – and to the presidential Administration, and the capital.
The protesters came with banners “President! Follow promised to investors” and “we Demand protection of constitutional rights”, intend to wait for a response from the presidential Administration.
As one of the organizers, the investor of Bank “Michael” Olga Aleksutin, it’s been a year since they promised to return the money from their accounts, but these promises are not yet fulfilled.
According to her, investors have registered in the Administration of the President his letter with a request to meet with the President as the guarantor of the Constitution. Today from the presidential Administration and one of them out, so they will have to wait for a meeting with the President, or at least “some response”.
Otherwise, investors are going to move by Automaidan to the residence of Peter Poroshenko in the village Kozin.
