In Kiev promised to let the tram from Starovokzalna “Palace of sports”

В Киеве обещают пустить трамвай от Старовокзальной до «Дворца спорта»Public discussion of the feasibility study project will take place on January 29.

“Kyivpastrans” plans to build a tram line from Starovokzalna street to the metro station “Sports Palace”. The announcement was published in the newspaper “Khreshchatyk” from 29 Dec.

At the moment, we consider three variants of passage of a new tram tracks:

Option # 1 — from Starovokzalna street by street, next on Shota Rustaveli street, and back on the street rognedinskaya, Bolshaya Vasilkovskaya St. Starovokzalna str;

Option # 2 — from Starovokzalna street by street, next on Shota Rustaveli street, St. rognedinskaya, Esplanade St, Church St. Starovokzalna str;

Option # 3 — from Starovokzalna str. Saksaganskogo, on Shota Rustaveli street, and back on the street rognedinskaya, street Big Vasilkovsky, Saksaganskogo street Starovokzalna.

In “Kyivpastrans” leaning toward option No. 2 with a route length of 6.1 km.

“Construction of a tram line from Starovokzalna street to the metro station “Sports Palace” will provide unloading of public transport on this route and will contribute to the increase in passenger traffic and will reduce the emissions of polluting substances in atmospheric air through the use of environmentally safe electric vehicle”, — said the company.

Three variants of passage of a tram line “Kyivpastrans” leaning towards this route: Starovokzalna — Japanese — rognedinskaya — Esplanadnaya — center of Artem.

Now the feasibility study of the project, public debate on 29 January 2018 in the room of the “Kyivpastrans” on the Naberezhnoye highway 2.
