In Kiev opened the new Park

The new Park is located between the Obolonska embankment and the Moscow bridge.

The mayor of Kiev Vitaly Klitschko opened the second phase of the reconstructed Park “Natalka” at Obolon and noted that this modern Park is the gold standard for all green spaces in the capital.

“The tract “Natalka” between the Obolonska embankment and the Moscow bridge has long been abandoned. And it tried to build up. But together with the community we were able to return this site to the city. With the support of social activists and residents of the Obolon district we were able to turn the tract “Natalka” in the area with modern design, all necessary infrastructure, children’s and sports grounds. We did the best Park in Kiev”, – said Vitaly Klitschko.

The mayor noted that the Kiev Park “Natalka” may envy even the inhabitants of London. After all, according to Vitali Klitschko, the Park even better than Hyde Park, which is closed from all sides by houses, and the “Natalka” there is an exit to the Dnieper.

“We carried out the reconstruction area of more than 7 hectares. There is a new pedestrian and bike paths with FEM-coating, with comfortable benches, new garbage cans. And I am grateful to all who contributed to the work on the restoration of the Park – community activists, Obolon, employees of public utilities. Thanks to our collaboration Park “Natalka” became a decoration of not only the district, but the entire city,” – said Vitaly Klitschko.

The mayor expressed confidence that the Park “Natalka” is the “gold” standard for all parks in the capital, because he was a green area with a landscaped area, with quality bike lanes, modern lighting, infrastructure.

“And we will continue to build the Park “Natalka” – an area of 5 hectares, close to the Moscow bridge will appear to the area. In addition to new walkways and lighting there will be a volleyball court and several ramps from residential areas to the Park. And I am sure every year we will present several such parks in different parts of the capital”, – said Vitaly Klitschko.

After the reconstruction the Park has a entrance lobby: completely redid the stairs, arranged a viewing platform at the top – here you can relax, drink coffee. Also, the Park has paved new communication, have built a public restroom, which is also equipped with a changing table for babies. In addition, there were completed works on illumination of the Park were installed street lights. Along the alley next to the Bank identified three species of the gazebo. Opened a Playground for street workout and mini-football field. New trees and flower beds arranged automatic watering with water from the Dnieper. On the Central Avenue Boulevard was arranged with areas for garden statues.
