February 18 in Kiev opened a massage parlor, which will operate blind and visually impaired masseurs of the only running club for the blind in Ukraine “Guide Runner”.
This was announced by the head of the club runners Vasiliy Kravchenko on his page in Facebook.
“This is the first startup in Ukraine. If we succeed and citizens will support – we will open a chain of such stores and create jobs for the visually impaired, give them hope for a decent standard of living. Visually impaired and blind people – an excellent massage therapists! In ancient times in the East was even a tradition that a good therapist must be blind. We have a very developed intuition and sensitivity of the hand, all life is at your finger tips. All the guys that work in the salon, studied massage professionally and perfected the technique for many years in practice,” said Zakrevsky.
