In Kiev introduced the strengthened patrol of streets

The strengthened patrol mode will operate 10 days.

In the case of aggravation of the crime situation in different places, the number of police stations will be adjusted. According to the order of the head of the National police of Ukraine Sergey Knyazev, the personnel of the Kyiv and Kyiv region ten days will work in the strengthened mode. This was stated by the head of the national police in Kiev Andrey Krishchenko during the briefing, the press service of the police.

“This position of the leadership of the police Department caused by the aggravation of the operational situation,” said Krishchenko.

For the period of testing further the streets of Kiev will patrol 1 350 law enforcement officers. In the case of aggravation of the crime situation in different places, the number of police stations will be adjusted.

He focused subordinates on operational response when receiving information on any offences, the prevention of crimes and placed emphasis on strict observance of measures of personal security while on duty.

“People need to feel safe, and therefore the city is under the watchful control of the police. To date, we have greatly increased patrols in all crowded places, railway station, airport, check vehicles on entry and departure from Kyiv will be on duty in the subway, to stop suspicious persons for verification of documents and surface inspection. Today such activities are a necessity,” said Krishchenko.

He also said that in Kiev continue further measures to strengthen the counter-terrorism regime.

“We have enough forces and funds to adequately maintain order”, – assured Krishchenko.
