In Kiev introduced new rules of walking animals

Near schools and hospitals in the paddock will be prohibited.

Thursday, October 5, at the session of Kyiv city Council deputies have made changes in the decision “About settlement of questions of detention and treatment of dogs and cats in Kyiv”, which prohibits the walking of pet dogs and cats in pre-school and secondary schools.

As the press service of the city Council, under the ban of dog walking also covered the areas of health, including areas of hospitals, centers of primary health care, consultative-diagnostic and clinical centres.

“This decision is based on numerous oral and written appeals, complaints, doctors, patients, parents and educators on irresponsible, indifferent, and unacceptable behavior of owners of dogs and cats who walk their Pets on the territories of schools, kindergartens and hospitals,” — said the author of the relevant decision, the Deputy of city Council Oleg Geneva.

Yesterday, the Kyiv city Council voted for the draft decision “On overcoming the consequences of Soviet occupation in the field of language”, which introduced a total ban on the use of the Russian language in the capital.
