Order is maintained 5 thousand militiamen.
In the center of Kiev was a March of memory of heroes of Heavenly hundred, and also held a popular Assembly. The marchers walked from the European square through the Maidan and the Heavenly hundred’s Alley.
People were carrying flowers, lamps and pictures of the victims of the revolution of dignity.
Near the Memorial at Institutskaya street victims observed a minute of silence after the memorial service and laid flowers at it.
Then started on the Maidan popular Assembly. The participants adopted a resolution calling on the authorities and the public not to forget the ideals of the Maidan.
The event was attended by from 500 to a thousand people, but the people continue to come.
The situation in Central Kiev is calm. The rule of law provide about 5 thousand police officers and National guard.
As previously reported, the center of Kiev will be closed for five days from 7.00 am Saturday, February 18, and before the end of the events dedicated to the third anniversary of the revolution of dignity and commemoration of the dead heroes of the Celestial hundreds.
Recall, from 18 to 22 February, the police of Kiev will pass to the strengthened mode of service.
