Independence Day ATO veterans and the families of the victims marched through the center of the capital.
In the center of Kiev on August 24 after a military parade was held “March of the unconquered.” Families of the Heavenly hundred Heroes, relatives of dead and missing Ukrainian soldiers marched through the street.
“March of the undefeated” went from the Bessarabian square on Khreshchatyk street on Independence Day the second time.
Like last year, the event was attended by families of the Heavenly hundred Heroes, relatives of dead and missing Ukrainian soldiers, volunteers, ATO veterans, medics, chaplains, volunteers and ordinary Ukrainians.
March passed without political slogans. The protesters were carrying portraits of their relatives, killed or missing in the ATO area or during Euromaidan.
Some participants were carrying sunflowers, a symbol of a breakthrough from Ilovaisk boiler. The March ended at St. Michael’s square St. Michael’s Cathedral, where members of the prayer honored the fallen defenders of Ukraine.
