In Kiev, established the main Christmas tree

Finally, the epic main tree of the country came to an end.

Today, 7 December at the capital’s Sophia square set the main Christmas tree of Ukraine. Now the utilities were left to decorate the beautiful toys and garlands.

The team that brought to Kiev the main symbol of New year, officially announced the completion of its mission. The company AvtoKrAZ on the Facebook page says that the mission is completed and workers who were taken to the capital 90-year-old tree is 30 meters long and weighing 15 tons, have returned home.

The company also emphasize that it is very proud that they were attracted to this magical action – preparing for new year holidays. Project Folk Ukraine also announced on his Facebook page that today a Christmas tree in the heart of the capital will begin to decorate toys and all kinds of garlands and lanterns.

As you know, the Christmas tree in the capital was to deliver on Sunday, December 3, however, due to the heavy snowfall that hit the Western part of the country, her delivery was off. Indicates that the tree of Ivano-Frankivsk region arrived in Kiev yesterday – 6 Dec.

However, due to the big size of the procession, which transported the tree, the police had to limit its travel on some streets until midnight, not to create emergencies on city roads because of its delivery to the destination.

It is reported that the cost of delivery and installation of the Christmas tree on St. Sophia square has cost the city authorities to 86 thousand hryvnia. Her decoration of Kiev will cost more than 2,5 million hryvnias. It is known that the Christmas tree will adorn over 3.5 miles of lights, and will show off different toys and flashlights.

The lights on it will light the Day of St. Nicholas, which will be celebrated in Ukraine on 19 December.
