In Kiev closed for repair one of the metro stations

In Kiev at the metro station “Svyatoshin” will hold a large-scale renovation.

“The station will replace turnstiles will repair the walls and entrances, to restore navigation,” – said during a field workshop on “Svyatoshino” Deputy head of Kyiv city state administration Mykola Povoroznyk.

He also noted that if repairs are going to build ramps and lifts for disabled passengers.

In addition, according to the official plan to exempt the approaches to the metro station from the spontaneous trade. Dealers will offer to navigate to the market, located not far from the station.

Repair work on “Svyatoshino” will be completed by the end of the year.

The Deputy head of Kyiv city state administration added that the metro station was opened in 1971 and has long been in need of repair.

“This is one of the busiest metro stations, because every day it is used about 50 thousand passengers arriving at the city train public and suburban transport,” – said Poworoznik.
