In Kiev “on hot” caught “Parking attendants” that take money from drivers, despite the introduction of cashless payments.

This was reported by the press service of Kyiv city state administration (KCSA).

It is noted that the RAID was organized by the Department of transport infrastructure of Kyiv city state administration, the police and “kievtransparkservis”, after complaints from drivers.

In particular, in the capital to check the 19 Parking spaces on the streets of Hrushevskoho, Big Vasilkovskaya str., Shota Rustaveli, Antonovich, Mechnikov, Lysenko, Vladimir, Sophia and Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard.

“The Parking attendants” who were caught “on hot”, and fled after seeing the police and the camera. Others were rather aggressive, even in the presence of police. Caught scammers wrote to explain to the police about their actions”, – stated in the message.

It is clarified that to prosecute these individuals only at the request of the driver for extortion of money.

Drivers urged not to support the actions of scammers and not to pay for Parking.

“Cashless Parking payment is becoming increasingly popular. Especially payments through mobile applications, because it is quick and easy. For 10 months of 2017 from the Parking lot came to 52.5 million UAH”, – said in the KSCA.

It is also reported that in Kiev there was a service TeleРark, which allows you to pay for Parking with a mobile account. For this we need to send the number of your auto SMS to 849 the number of your car and dial combination *849*Parking lot#. Therefore, the amount for Parking fees will be charged to the mobile account.
