Investigators of the Kyiv Prosecutor’s office has arrested another person involved in a criminal group, which included police officers.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry.
Also, the Prosecutor gave an example of one of the raids made by the group. In may last year, one of the members of the gang, 32-year-old police major, conspired with his brother, made assault on the territory of Khmelnytskyi region.
Under the false pretext men lured 47-year-old local farmer to a deserted place, where with the use of special means used by the police (rubber stick and a gas spray), beat the man and forced to pay 20 thousand UAH and documents for his car.
Today the police detained brother.
We will remind that the criminal group consisted of seven people, including current law enforcement officers: 32-year-old major, 21-year-old employee duty of 27-year-old captain. Criminals engaged in robberies, including those on order, as well as fraudulent real estate transactions.
