The man 1979 year of birth ate dried fish.
In Kharkov was a case of botulism. On Friday, December 8, reported the Kharkiv regional laboratory center of the Ministry of health of Ukraine.
“The victim, born in 1979, I used dried fish (bream), purchased from an unknown person on the market GLOSS,” the message reads.
The first symptoms appeared in men in 15 hours after consumption of the product. He was hospitalized in the regional clinical infectious diseases hospital in serious condition and hooked up to a ventilator.
The diagnosis of botulism is confirmed by laboratory results of blood tests and the remnants of the fish. The patient entered monovalent protivobotulinicheskoy serum type A, b, E.
The patient’s condition remains serious.
