The offender could face up to seven years in prison.
Kharkiv appeal court took custody of the Deputy of a regional Council Alexey Litvinov, who is suspected of shooting in the village of Olshany Dergachi district.
So, in may near the building of the local village Council there was a mass fight with weapons, in which four people were injured and ended up in the hospital, and another died from his injuries.
Previously, Dergachevskiy district court elected to one of the three active participants in the brawl, the Deputy of a regional Council, as a preventive measure in the form of house arrest.
However, as told in the press service of the regional Prosecutor’s office, the state prosecutors did not agree with this decision by making an appeal because they believe that the suspect could influence witnesses and destroy evidence.
Thus, the suspect is at least the next two months will be spent in jail. For disorderly conduct with a weapon, he faces up to seven years in prison.
