In Kazakhstan dismantled the St. George ribbon with the obelisk of Glory

Kazakhs in recent years many argue about the symbol of Victory Day.

In Kazakhstan, the second largest city of Shymkent, rented a St. George ribbon with the obelisk of Glory.

Shymkent monument of Glory, located in the Park of Abay, after the reconstruction was decorated with layouts, order of the Patriotic war and Order of Victory with guards ribbons under them.

The portal notes that in Kazakhstan the last years many argue about the symbol of Victory Day. Many speak about the inadmissibility of the use of St. George ribbons as a symbol of the holiday.

In 2015, Kazakhstan has created its own version of the symbol of the celebration of Victory Day. Silk ribbon blue color coated Kazakh national ornament and the image of the order of the Patriotic war.
