In Japan, sank two multi-ton barge with people

Two crew members were missing

In Japan today, 22 August, in Nagasaki Prefecture sank two barges.

As a result of incident one person is in serious condition, unconscious, two more were missing.

According to preliminary information, the barge “AOI Maru-8” loaded with sand, sank along with the barge “AOI Maru-6”, which pushed it over.

At the time of the accident on the “AOI Maru-6” was 6 man crew. Four were rescued, one of whom is in serious condition.

Two crew members were missing.

At the time of the accident the visibility was good.

Marine services are searching for and find out the causes of the accident.

As previously reported, in Japan, in Nagano Prefecture, crashed the plane and rescue service.

Rescuers have found the bodies of three crew members, the quest for six continues.
