In Italy will create a Park that will appeal to all the gluttons

It is the largest in the world.

In Bologna, on 15 November, will open gastronomic Park FICO – Fabbrica Italiana Contadina (literally – “Italian peasant factory”). On 10 acres will house representatives from over 40 farms and enterprises, more than 40 places for tasting food, bars, markets and shops.

In addition, several acres of the Park are reserved for fields, pastures and corrals. It will include about 2,000 varieties of cultivated plants and more than 200 head of animals. FICO will be the largest theme Park dedicated to food, not only in Italy but throughout the world.

According to the organizers of the Park, visitors “Italian peasant factory” will be able to combine business with pleasure: to have fun and learn a lot about local cuisine. Everyone will give an opportunity to follow the production of fish, meat, and also to see how to make cheese, butter, beer and sweets. For guests of the Park each day will be about 30 events and 50 thematic lessons in special classes and teaching facilities. On-site FICO provides sports and children’s playgrounds, modular Congress centre, theatre and cinema.

Gastronomic Park in Bologna is another project of the network of grocery stores to Eataly. The entrance to the Park is free.

You can get here will be a special hybrid buses that depart from Central station every half hour. The fare there and back is 7 euros.
