Italian police have arrested five suspects, accused of stealing paintings by the masters Rubens and Renoir worth 26 million euros ($30 million) last year.
Search for paintings continues after the arrest of four Italian and one Croat on suspicion of intentional theft.
The paintings were stolen in April 2017, two art dealers in Monza, outside of Milan, who met with some of the suspects, posing as customers. During the meeting, the suspects loaded the paintings into the car and fled.
Three suspects are in jail, and the others, father and son, under house arrest, because, it is reported that they have had a material impact on officers.
