In iOS 11 found problems with the design

Apple already pays such attention to detail.

Designer Ryan Lau criticized the design of the new iOS and noticed that Apple was not paying such attention to detail.

In particular, Lau lists several gross inconsistencies in UI elements.

Lau notes that updated the firmware on my iPhone back in June and was a beta tester for the iOS 11, which passed “through a number of interesting updates”. However, according to Lau, the firmware is still “leaves you feeling beta”.

Among other things, the designer drew attention to the problems of font rendering, questions of alignment, and excessive animation of the main interface. It may look like minor quibbles, but considering that Apple wants more thousands of dollars for its new flagship phone, such carping is justified – after all, before such issues to the design of iOS did not occur.

“The inconsistency of these elements is mostly related to UI elements that were updated to iOS 11, such as a new search bar. In my opinion, the newly introduced elements could be strange and new even to the Apple engineers. And they caused a lot of inconsistent UI decisions in iOS 11,” writes Ryan Lau.

The discontent of the designer caused, for example, the fact that the Watch.app the search bar does not match the proposed style. And in the Mail.app field the “Big title” is clearly moved a bit compared to the search bar.
