The tragedy occurred in 35 km from the town of Mandi
In the state of Himachal Pradesh in Northern India on 13 August, a landslide occurred, killing 47 people.

According to the press-Secretary of the Indian Ministry of Krishan Kumar, rescuers found 47 bodies before were suspended the search operation.
“Tomorrow morning (August 14) we will conduct a confirmatory search. But there were reports that all the bodies were found,” he said.
The tragedy occurred in 35 km from the town of Mandi. The landslide came down on the road connecting the towns of Mandi and Pathankot. At the moment on this stretch of highway were two buses and several cars. One of the buses was completely covered with earth. The landslide occurred due to heavy rains.
