Launched a new tourism campaign.
Japanese Hiroshima launched a new tourism campaign to encourage visitors to stay longer in the city and familiarity with its history related to the atomic bombing.
Map of the peace tourism in Hiroshima was created to help travelers to learn about the city’s history and the devastation incurred in the atomic bombing in 1945, according to NHK.
On the official web-site of the campaign, tourists are offered a choice of six routes, one of which is near the buildings that survived during the bombing, including the Atomic bomb dome.
Each route is accompanied by a map and information for tourists in English and Japanese languages.
