In Hamburg people were evacuated from the airport

Hamburg airport firefighters evacuated people because of complaints of respiratory irritation and a strange smell.

“A major operation at the airport of Hamburg! Several people complained on Sunday in the second half of the day in irritation of the respiratory tract, the airport had to be evacuated. Flights discontinued. Assume that there are 50 victims,” – said in the message.

The alarm was raised by several people who called the police and reported the strange odor, difficult breathing and irritated eyes. The gas apparently came from the air conditioning system.

He responded promptly to the ambulance, sent to the airport a few coaches. Initially, it was decided to evacuate only part of the airport, but then spread the evacuation of passengers and staff on the whole complex. With 12.20 (13.20 Kyiv time) stopped any traffic.

Currently, the airport is open, flights resumed.
