Danny McBride, who plays one of the authors of the script of the upcoming “Halloween” once again shares his views on what will be this movie. Shooting delayed until January, more substantial news yet, so thanks for that.
So, McBride once again talks about the return to the roots of the original film John carpenter:
The original was tense. Laurie Strode didn’t even know about the existence of Michael Myers until the last minutes of the film. Very often you waited for something to happen and it pumped fear than a carpenter very skillfully uses in this film, so I think we really tried to get back to this. We are trying to escalate the fear. My choice is the tension, rather than simple dismemberment and ultra-violence, which you can see in some other horror movie. It was important for us to get back to the factor of suspense and try to find horror in your own backyard, in your own home.
I remember back in the summer of McBride that their Michael Myers is human. Not in the sense that man will begin to share their feelings. Just a new Myers should not have to remind unkillable killing machine. According to the creators, is always scarier than something that can actually happen.
Puts a new “Halloween” Director David Gordon green. And Jamie Lee Curtis is back in business:
Ahead of Laurie Strode the final battle with Michael Myers, the masked man who’s been chasing her all these years, because she’s the only one who was able to escape death at the hands of the eve of all saints Day four decades ago.
19 Oct 2018 we’ll see how it is scary in reality.
