Archaeologists have found unique Islamic manuscripts.
A group of archaeologists from the University of Kuwait has discovered in one of the Orthodox churches on mount Athos in Greece, a unique Arab manuscripts that belong to the formative period of Islam.
Found manuscripts belong to the Golden age of Islam. It is about the VIII-XIII centuries. They cover a variety of topics related to daily events, scientific observations, religious Affairs.
Archaeologists have called the discovery a “very important landmark” for those who study the history of Islam. According to Dr. abdulhadi al-Ajmi, exactly how the unique manuscripts came to Athos, have yet to learn.
