After a complicated operation in the body of 18-year-old German was missing 1 kidney.
In Germany, the doctors made a serious negligence, when instead the patient spleen, which was subject to emergency removal, the doctors cut the guy a healthy kidney.
Recently in a children’s clinic, Bremen (a city in the North-West of Germany) brought 18-year-old boy who had to remove his spleen. This surgical intervention was necessary because the patient was increased on due spherocytes anemia. Ten days ago, October 5, guy “successfully” operated on and the surgical procedures lasted for 5 hours.
But the next day when the doctors examined the 18-year-old boy, they found him ,instead of the spleen had a kidney removed. Identified the fact that their own negligence, they immediately called the patient’s parents and told them the terrible news.
Discouraged parents at first could not believe in such a possibility, and after he recovered, wrote a complaint to the doctors to law enforcement.
It is noted that the investigation of the case, the Prosecutor’s office. Now under active investigation, and the clinic refused to comment on the situation. Poor guy can only wait, and when it finally will remove the inflamed organ.
