Preserved up to 35% of the parts.
In the German city of Eifel found the rare Volkswagen T1 Samba. Released 27 August 1951 minibus refers to the first generation Transporter.
This is a more comfortable version of the famous van – it is roof rack and sliding fabric roof.
Interestingly, the car was purchased for parts only $ 2,500. Finding a plate with the date of issue (one such sign is a 5-digit amount), the new owners realized what a treasure fell into their hands – all these machines were released only 269 units.
The car is in a terrible state, preserved up to 35% of the parts. But buyers have decided to fully restore – to repair will have to spend, presumably of EUR 100 000.
