In Germany, children are forbidden to wear a smart watch

The reason for the ban was “listening” feature of the gadget.

The Federal network Agency of Germany has imposed a ban on the use of smart watches children. The Agency advised parents to throw away or destroy the “smart” watches and does not violate the laws of Germany.

The reason for the ban ‘smart’ watches was the feature that allows you to listen to all that is happening from the user. This technology was perceived by experts as tracking, which is contrary to the laws of Germany.

According to the Federal network Agency, the parents often used the “voice monitoring” to listen to what is happening in the school. Neither the teacher nor the students themselves were unaware that they are being watched by the parents.

It is known that with the help of special programs phone, you can turn on the microphone on a smart watch. Therefore, such devices fall under the ban.
