In Germany, a passenger ship crashed into a bridge support: dozens of victims

27 people injured, five of whom were seriously injured.

A passenger ship crashed into a support of a road bridge on the Rhine in the German city of Duisburg, reported the tabloid Bild, citing police and emergency services.

In the result, 27 persons were injured, five of them received severe injuries. All on Board Swiss Crystal was 129 people, including 26 crew members.

The incident occurred last night, passengers were evacuated.

About an hour after the accident, the organizer of the trip gave the spare ship. For some passengers continued on the path, others chose to stay overnight at a hotel or went home.

Swiss Crystal was towed, his nose badly damaged. All the operation involved about 80 members of the emergency services. Traffic on the bridge is temporarily blocked. The cause of the incident becomes clear.
