In Georgia Putin’s decree called punishment

Ban Russian airlines to make flights to Georgia is an attempt to punish the Georgian people, said one of the leaders of the opposition Republican party, Levan Berdzenishvili. About it writes “Interfax” with reference to Georgian mass media.

He explained that the lack of millions of tourists from Russia will affect the country’s economy. “But it will be temporary, as Russian tourists will soon be replaced by other tourists, and the more solvent countries”, — said the politician.

Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has banned Russian airlines to carry out air passenger transportation (including commercial) from Russia to Georgia. The Russian leader instructed the government to ensure the return of the temporarily staying in Georgia of Russians to their homeland.

20 June, several thousand protesters stormed the Parliament building. The interior Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia declared readiness to resign amid protests in the capital. After several hours, the police used tear gas against protesters and rubber bullets. According to the latest data, injured 240 people, 80 of them were police officers.
