In France, the judge group of neo-Nazis

The defendant being charged for 35 counts.

In the French city of Amiens began the trial of 18 persons accused of involvement in a neo-Nazi group known as “Clan of white wolves” (White Wolves Klan).

The defendant being charged for 35 counts, including robbery and attempted murder.

According to prosecutors, the charges relate to events in 2012 and 2014, including attacks on opposing groups or former members who tried to leave the group. In one such case, the members of the group “Autonomous nationalists” were lured into a garage and attacked them with knives, according to the prosecution.

As noted, the defendants – known French far-right activist Serge Ayoub. In 2013, he had been forced to disband led them to two extreme groups – the “Third way” (Troisieme voie, TV) and “Revolutionary nationalist youth” (JNR), after one of the clashes with far-right died left activist. Later, the government officially banned the organization.

Some of the members of the group, which will appear before the court on Monday, was also involved in banned in 2013, the ultra-right groups.
