Near Paris test a new wireless technology for charging electric vehicles using equipment built in the roadbed.
It is reported by the Corporation Renault.
It is noted that the innovative road can pass electrocare to 20 kW of energy during movement. The system for wireless charging created by the American company Qualcomm.
A test site was built in the framework of the European project FABRIC.
“Test track length of 100 meters divided into 4 segments. The machine can make the energy during motion in either direction. Maximum charging power of 20 kW,” — said in the message.
Recall that most electric cars go on roads of Kiev, Odessa and Kharkiv regions. Today in Ukraine there are about 400 devices for charging of electric cars.
