“In February 2014, its cost was 342,7 hryvnia (12.6 per dollar at the exchange rate of the national Bank), and for five years 939,9 hryvnia (34.56 dollar),” Doroshenko wrote in Facebook.

He said that the social cart included 23 product, the prices of which were tracked in 2014, but in 2017 a list of products from soccerzone increased to 31. According to him, in five years, the most expensive social bread basket – almost 4 times. The cost of the vegetable, grocery and meat basket grew by 2.7 times, and a set of dairy products – by 2.5 times.

Doroshenko said that over five years the average salary in the country rose by almost three times, the average pension – 68%, average old-age pension – 74%, the disability pension increased by 47%.

“The hryvnia in this period depreciated by 3.3 times, from 8.27 hryvnia to the dollar at the beginning of 2014 to of 27.43 hryvnia in the first month of winter 2019”, – he added.

According to state statistics, by the end of 2018, inflation in Ukraine increased by 9.8%. Thus, inflation last year was the lowest over the last five years: in 2013- 0,5%, 2014 – 24,9%, 2015 – 43,3%, 2016 – 12,4%, 2017 – 13,7%.
