In Finland, the Baker made bread with the addition of ground crickets.
Bakery Fazer reports that a unique product can be purchased since Friday. Each loaf contains about 70 crickets, which are dried and milled, and then to intervene in the dough.
Juhani of Sibakov, head of innovation at Fazer, said that this concept was developed since last summer, but it could not run prior to the approval of the Finnish authorities. Five other European countries — UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Denmark — have already given such permission.
Sibakov reported that this bread contains more protein compared to conventional.
