The British found the suspension of the sixth century.
An Amateur collector from UK found in East Anglia a rare gold pendant depicting the Byzantine Emperor Justinian
The Briton Godfrey Pratt explored the area in Norfolk with a metal detector and found a small object.
“At first it seemed that this Golden bottle cap, but when I looked closer, I realized that it was something more significant. I understand that it is a gold pendant… very rare. In the UK such suspensions find very little”, — quotes the channel as possible.
Specialist archaeological finds Adrian Marsden also confirmed that the found pendant is a rare instance of ancient ornaments and is made of high carat gold. It was supposedly made in France.
According to the channel, the discovery will be sent to the British Museum for evaluation.
