In El Salvador burned down the building of the Ministry, there are victims

In one of the buildings of the Ministry of Finance of El Salvador there was a fire that killed a woman, another 25 people were taken to hospital with carbon monoxide poisoning and burns.

“The fire destroyed one of the buildings of the Ministry of Finance of El Salvador, leading to the death of at least one person,” the message reads.

The fire started Friday afternoon on one of the lower floors and spread above the building. According to the representative of an emergency of Carlos Fuentes, the building was evacuated at least 50 people.

About 25 people were taken to hospitals for treatment of carbon monoxide poisoning and burns. Some of them were seriously injured.

One woman died. Another, previously declared dead, was resuscitated at the hospital. According to local media, the fire could have been caused by an electrical fault in the air conditioning system of the building.
