In defense of the military decided to leave without the meat

Instead of meat you want to feed the soldiers milk and yogurt.

The Ministry of defence decided not to feed the soldiers with meat. Instead, they offer milk and yogurt. The corresponding project with the new nutrition standards, the Ministry has tabled the Cabinet.

The document proposes to allow to change some products in the diet of soldiers on the other. The main thing is to match their cost and nutritional value. Such a change may relate to the military, participating in international exercises, in places of permanent deployment, training centers, landfills on the territory of the ATO.

In this case, the first meat category (beef, pork, lamb, veal) will be replaced by “dried milk, yogurt and milk products” in the ratio 1: 0,7.

We will remind, on 7 December in Ukraine will come into force the new nutritional standards for the population, which has not changed since 1999. Later based on them should form the basket, which will be the basis for the subsistence minimum (now it is UAH 1624, and from 1 November 1700).
