In Day VDV the fountains in St. Petersburg will shut off

In St. Petersburg on Sunday will turn off the fountains in the city centre. In “Vodokanal” explained this decision by concern for the safety of citizens during the celebration of day of airborne troops. Turn off to prevent damage to equipment due to possible cases of bathing in fountains.

The company said that it will stop working fountains in the Alexander garden, in the Park near the Kazan Cathedral, the Hermitage garden and the Park of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg.

The restrictions will be in effect from 9:000 on 2 August to 9:00 on August 3.

In “Vodokanal” noted that in the case of bathing can suspend work and other fountain complexes.

We will remind, last year near the fountains in Day VDV “water” guard. Employees of the company and police saw to it that no one swam in the hydro.
