In Crimea banned the rally near the monument to Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko in the day of his birth, March 9. This was reported by activist of the Ukrainian cultural centre Leonid Kuzmin.
He got a warning “about the inadmissibility of violation of the law” from the Department of the MIA of Russia in the Crimea, which he received in connection with the filing of the notice of action in honor of Shevchenko.
“Once said with flowers to Shevchenko on March 9,” Kuzmin wrote on his page in Facebook published a copy of the notice.
In the document the Russian security forces stated that so-called administration of Simferopol refused the activists to hold a rally in honor of Taras Shevchenko in the amount of up to 20 people, offering to submit the documents again.
As reported, in 2015, the Russian security officers detained participants of the rally in Simferopol, dedicated to the birthday of Taras Shevchenko.
