Workers of one of the incinerators in China manually went through 13 tons of garbage to find thrown away by accident by a local resident a diamond ring worth 110 million yuan (about 16 thousand dollars).
A resident of Yangzhou city in Jiangsu province surnamed Xia accidentally threw in the garbage ring. Realizing his mistake, the woman immediately turned to the local Department of communal hygiene.
There the owner of the ring told the whole assembled in her area garbage had already been compressed and sent to an incinerator. By the time the woman, accompanied by the head of Department of communal hygiene got there, the factory was already closed and had to wait for the next day.
Then in the morning a team of eight factory workers engaged in manual bulkhead approximately 13 tons of garbage collected. Two hours later the ring was found and returned to owner.
“The generosity of these people is much more expensive than my ring,” — said the touched female reporters.
