The discovery was made by scientists in the course of excavations conducted in 2016 near the city of Jinan (provincial capital of Shandong). Experts believe that the excavated remains belong to the representatives of the cultures of the Neolithic Longshan, in ancient times, inhabited the basin of the yellow river.
