Such buildings produce oxygen and contribute to the improvement of the ecological situation in large cities.
Two houses-forests with more than three thousand different plants located in Nanjing, Eastern China. They produce about 60 pounds of oxygen for its margins daily, according to Inhabitat.
The locals call the building Towers Nanjing and believe Asia’s first “vertical forests”. The development of houses engaged the Italian architect Stefano Boeri.
One of the towers will be about 200 meters in height and the other just over 100. Their territory is located almost a thousand trees and 2,500 shrubs 23 different local species. Their construction should be completed in 2018.
The highest building has office space, a Museum, a school “green architecture”, the club on the roof and the hotel’s 247 rooms.On site will be located almost 1000 trees and 2500 shrubs 23 different local species.
