47-year-old resident of China’s Henan province killed himself after he met with the bride of his son
According to the newspaper, the mother of the groom rushed into the river due to the fact that she didn’t like the potential daughter-in-law.
There are two versions of motive of suicide of Chinese women. In the first version, the woman categorically did not suit the growth of the girls: it was too low. In the second version, the daughter was too large requests that the groom’s family could not perform. It should be noted that in some regions of China still practiced the so-called “bride price”.
In some areas, girls are demanding the sum from 120 to 200 thousand Yuan ($ 30 million).
