A new incident in Chernobyl with a citizen of Belarus. This time, alas, with fatal outcome.
As reports a press-service GU NP of Ukraine in the Kiev region, 33-year-old tourist, thrill-seeker from Belarus climbed the radar tower and fell from a height of 15 meters. Injuries were incompatible with life.
It is reported that the victim was in Chernobyl is not alone, with him was his fellow citizen and one Russian. The three of them had illegally entered the territory of the evacuated closed military object “Chernobyl-2” to make vivid pictures.
“33-year-old Stalker climbed up the radar tower, which is located a few kilometers from the station. The man fell from a height of 15 metres and died”, — stated in the message Department.
In fact the incident opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 115 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (“Premeditated murder”) with a note about the accident.
Against the Russians and second Belarusian made a Protocol for violation of requirements of radiation safety regime, they will face a fine.Also prepared documents to reduce their length of stay on the territory of Ukraine.
