The incident was avoided thanks to the quick reaction of the soldiers.
Soldier highly mobile armed forces, yesterday evening, around 19:30, while building on the parade ground the company threatened to blow up everyone with a grenade. The officer was drunk. This became known from the message of the military Prosecutor of the Central region of Ukraine.
The accident happened during loading of military equipment at one of the stations of Cherkasy region. The company commander pulled out a grenade and pulled the trigger guard. Military units, thankfully, reacted quickly and fixed the grenade in the hand of the commander. That is what helped avoid the explosion.

Now investigative actions are carried out in relation to the incident. The Prosecutor’s office of the Cherkassk garrison has opened a criminal proceedings. All the circumstances of the case at the moment specified.
