July 12, about 17 hours on the field near the village of Kuz’myna Hreblya Khrystynivka district, Cherkasy region during a thunderstorm lightning struck in a group of three people.

“The tragedy occurred when the family (38-year-old man, his 35-year-old wife and 15-year-old son) gathered in the field of agricultural industrial plant cucumbers. As a result of incident the man and young woman died on the spot. The injured boy in critical condition was rushed to the intensive care unit Khrystynivka Central district hospital.
Despite the efforts of doctors without regaining consciousness two hours later, the young man died”, – stated in the message.
